Classic Fuel Injection Solex Throttle Body assembly for VW vehicles and 34 PICT


Typically used on VW vehicles but can also be used with other vehicles with 34 PICT or similar


Throttle Body for fitment to stock 34pict-3 manifold.
Direct mount 2 bolt fitment
36mm bore at the butterfly tapering up to 48mm at the inlet
Stainless steel shaft with sealed roller bearings
Stainless steel levers with standard barrel nut cable attachment
Stainless steel fuel rail with -6 male threads

MASTER = With Throttle Position Sensor ( TPS ) Fitted

SLAVE = Without TPS Fitted

PAIR = 1 x Master and 1 x Slave


Using a pair of these throttle bodies ?

When using a pair these will work on either Single or Twin Port engines but seem to suit Single port engines better.

Single port engines seem to idle better and smoother using these bodies than the Twin port engines.

Once actually driving there seems little or no difference between Single or Twin Port engines with these bodies

For better idle on Twin port engines a 4 injector setup is recommended, either with IDF bodies or elbows with the injectors fitted, so you have one injector per cylinder


For single throttle body applications where the throttle body is placed centrally then these restrictions do not apply.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION RELATING TO OUR COMPLETE FUEL INJECTION VEHICLE KITS

These kits are only suitable for vehicles with a Negative Earth electrical system.
If your vehicle is the older Positive Earth then you must convert the vehicle to Negative Earth before fitment.
Many older vehicles have already been converted but if you need to convert this is normally a simple process often cost free.


The full vehicle kits will normally be supplied with the ECU pre loaded with an initial start file.

This initial start file is simply provided as an aid for engine starting, it should not be considered a suitable final calibration for your engine.
You must be prepared to undertake further ECU calibration work to ensure the ECU files are tailored to your vehicle.
Failure to successfully complete the calibration process may lead to poor vehicle driveability or even damage to your engine.

Our Classic Fuel Injection Kits are custom built to order and to the customer general specification and as such are exempt from automatic return rights under Consumer Contract regulations.
By ordering this conversion kit you understand that further ECU calibration work will be required and the final results are outside of our control.
We cannot accept returns or claims arising from failure to successfully complete the calibration process.
